A video circulating online is drawing major attention after showing a physical altercation between two construction workers — one of whom appears to repeatedly put his hands on a Black co-worker before the situation escalates.

The Feb. 8 clip, which has spread across multiple social platforms, appears to show a white worker grabbing a Black co-worker by the neck while telling him to put his phone away and “get back to work.” Power tools can be heard in the background, suggesting the incident took place at an active job site. The exact location has not been confirmed, and it remains unclear whether either man held a supervisory role.

In the footage, the Black worker can be heard repeatedly saying, “Please, let me go, man,” while trying to disengage. Another worker behind the camera tells the aggressor, “You can’t put your hands on him, bro.”

After several seconds of physical contact — including shaking and grabbing — the confrontation turns into a fight. The two men fall to the ground, where punches are exchanged. The video ends with the white worker on the receiving end of the altercation.

The clip has sparked intense reactions online, with many viewers pointing out that the Black worker appeared to try to de-escalate the situation before defending himself. Others emphasized that physical aggression in the workplace — particularly grabbing someone by the neck — can constitute assault.

As of now, there has been no public confirmation of whether law enforcement or an employer has taken action. It is also unclear whether any injuries were reported.
