Vice President Kamala Harris is warning voters that former President Donald Trump is "unstable" and "unhinged" amid the pair's tight race for the presidency.

On Monday (October 14), Harris made scathing remarks about Trump during a rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, a key battleground state in the 2024 election, per CNN.

“Watch his rallies. Listen to his words. He tells us who he is, and he tells us what he would do if he is elected president,” Harris told the Pennsylvania crowd.

During her stump speech, Harris played a video of Trump's comments on Fox News where he said he could order the National Guard or military to turn on "the enemy from within."

“You heard his words,” the vice president said. “He’s talking about the enemy within Pennsylvania … he considers anyone who doesn’t support him or who will not bend to his will an enemy of our country.”

“Donald Trump is increasingly unstable and unhinged, and he is out for unchecked power.”

Before Harris spoke, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, her running mate, said the idea of Trump using troops against Americans made him “sick to my stomach.” Walz pointed out how former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley said Trump was a “fascist to his core,” per Bob Woodward’s new book “War.”

"Let that sink in, and don’t be a damn bit afraid of saying it, because that’s exactly who he is. That’s exactly who he is,” the vice presidential nominee said.

The Democratic campaign's remarks come as they attempt to rejolt voter enthusiasm just 21 days from the presidential election. On Monday, Harris also rolled out a new economic agenda aimed at uplifting Black men.
